Edward Hopp was born December 29, 1909, and died March 30, 1938.  He married Jennie Schouten Unknown.  She was born March 31, 1904, and died January 22, 1980. Children of Edward Hopp and Jennie Schouten are:    Joyce E. Hopp, born November 12, 1931 in Brandon, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin; died January 12, 2001 in Madison Hospital, Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin. Arthur H. Hopp, born Nov. 26, 1937; died Nov. 21 ,2004, at the Waupun Memorial Hospital, Waupun, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

The Waupun Leader News-Feb. 7, 1938: The funeral serivces for Edward Hopp, who died last Wednesday were held at 1:30 from Beyers Funeral home and 2 o'clock from the Alto Reformed church. Burial was in the Reformed church cemetery, the Rev. J. H. Kregel officiating. Pallbearers were Ryer Schouten, Aaron Schouten, Harry Schouten, Arnold Van Loo, James Hopp and Wilbert Respalje.

WAUPUN/ALTO - Joyce E. Hopp, 69, a former resident of the Waupun/Alto area, died on Friday, Jan. 12, 2001, in a Madison Hospital. The funeral will be held on Monday, Jan. 15, at 11 a.m., at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun. The Rev. Ted Medema will officiate. Burial will be in Alto Cemetery. Ms. Hopp was born on Nov. 12, 1931, in Brandon, the daughter of Edward and Jennie (Schouten) Hopp. Ms. Hopp lived in the Randolph area for many years and later became hospitalized in Madison, where she had resided since. She was a member of the Alto Reformed Church. Survivors include one brother, Arthur (Gertrude) Hopp, Brandon; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends may call on Monday, Jan. 15, from 9 a.m. until the time of service, at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun.
