Effie Van Buren was born Abt. 1881.  She married Samuel Sommerfield November 25, 1903.  He was born Abt. 1882, and died May 30, 1955 at the Waupun Memorial Hospital, Waupun, Dodge County, Wisconsin. Child of Effie Van Buren and Samuel Sommerfield is:   Arnold Sommerfield, born PRIVATE.

	The Waupun Leader News-June 9, 1955: Funeral Services Were Held for S. Sommerfield Funeral services were held Thursday at the Methodist Church, Markesan for Sam. A. Sommerfield, who died at the Waupun Memorial hospital on May 30. Burial was in the Markesan cemetery. The Rev. John A. Wagner of Fond du Lac assisted the Rev. A. B. Eliason in the church service. Melvin Johnson conducted the Masonic ritual. Mr. Sommerfield is survived by his widow, one son, Aronld Sommerfield, and a daughter, Mrs. A. Preston Hoxie, both of Markesan.
