Hopp March 17, 1908 town of Alto, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin.  He was born January 10, 1890 in Alto, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, and
died December 17, 1945 at his home 317 West Jefferson St., Waupun, Dodge County, Wisconsin..

Mrs. Lizzie Hopp, 86, formerly of 317 W. Jefferson St., died Wednesday morning, June 23, 1976, at Waupun Christian Home for the Aged, where she had resided for nine years.
She was born Sept. 23, 1889 in the Town of Alto, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reyer Van Loo. She was married to John Hopp March 17, 1908. The couple farmed in the Alto area until moving to Waupun approximately 58 years ago wher Mr. Hopp became employed by the Shaler Co.
She was member of Emmanuel Reformed Church and Martha Circle.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. James S. (Henrietta) Frens and Mrs. Lawrence  (Alieta) Schouten both of Waupun; one brother Ben Van Loo; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 17, 1945, and by a daughter, five brothers and a sister.
Funeral services were held at Emmanuel Reformed Church Firday, June 25 at 2 p.m. The Rev. John H. DeHaan officiated and burial was in Alto Cemetery.

Heart Attack Fatal for John Hopp, 55; Funeral Services This Afternoon
John Hopp, 55, died suddenly Monday morning following a heart attack in his home at 317 West Jefferson St.
Mr. Hopp was born on Jan. 10, 1890 in the town of Waupun, and married on March 17, 1908 to Miss Elizabeth Van Loo of the town of Alto. The couple resided on a farm in the town of Alto until 1919 when they moved to Waupun, where Mr. Hopp was employed as a carpenter. For the past two years he was employed by the Shaler company.
Survivors include the widow, two daughters, Miss Alita, at home, and Mrs. James Frens of the town of Trenton; two grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Gerrit Mulder of Waupun, Mrs. Edith Miller of Markesan, and Mrs. Cordelia Van Loo of the town of Waupun.
Funeral services will be held today at 1:30 p.m. in the Beyers Funeral home and at 2 p.m. in the First Reformed church. The Rev. Gerrit Menning will officiate at the services. Burial will be in the Alto cemetery.
