Elizabeth Loomans, 92, a resident of the Christian Home, Waupun, died Tuesday, May 26, 1998, at the Waupun Memorial Hospital.
The funeral was Friday, May 29, at 11 a.m. at the Alto Reformed Church, Alto, Wis. The Rev. Reed Medema officiated. Burial was in Alto Cemetery, Alto, Wis.
Mrs. Loomans was born Nov 1, 1905, in the town of Alto, Wis., daughter of Jacob and Besty (Ted Hoope) Van Hoff. She was married to Edward Loomans in 1924 in the town of Alto, Wis.
She farmed with her husband in the Alto and Brandon area all of her married life and was a member of the Alto Reformed Church, and the Women's Guild.
Survivors include four daughters, Bernice (Charles) Kok of Alto, Wis., Catherine (Bernard) Bille of Waupun, Beverly (Robert) Kastein of Waupun, and Charlene (James) Kamphuis of Brandon, Wis.; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Vant Hoff of Waupun; one son-in-law, Gordon Zacharias of Brandon, Wis.;  23 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; one daughter, Marjorie Zacharias; two grandsons, two sisters and three brothers.
Friends called on Thursday, May 28, at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun,
and on Friday, May 29, at the church.

Funeral services for Edward A. Loomans, Route 2, Brandon, were held Oct. 8, at Beyers Funeral home and the First Reformed church in Alto.
Rev. LeRoy Sandee conducted the services. Burial was in Alto cemetery.
Mr. Loomans, a lifelong resident of the area, died suddenly in his farm home Oct. 5. He was born in the town of Alto Oct. 11, 1900, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Loomans. He married Elizabeth Vant Hoff June 6, 1924.
The loomanses farmed in the town of Alto all their married life.
Survivors include his widow, five daughters- Mrs. george Rens, and Mrs. Robert Kastein, both of Brandon, Mrs. Charles Kok, Waupun, Charlene at home, and Mrs. Bernard Bille, Markesan; two brothers, William and Arnold, Waupun; a sister, Mrs. Ed Vant Hoff, Waupun; and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Pallbearers include, Alfred Henkin, Earl Vande Zande, Howard Vant Hoff, Alvin Loomans, Howard Loomans, and Gerald Vant Hoff.
