She was born Sept. 6, 1876 in Alto Township, Alto, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin; died 1940 at her home, 529 East Franklin St., Waupun, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin.

Funeral Services Were Held Tuesday for Edward Van Loo
Funeral services for Edward Van Loo, 529 East Franklin street, who died Sunday noon in the Waupun Memorial hospital, were held Tuesday, Sept. 16, in the First Reformed church. Mr. Van Loo had been confined to the hospital for the past four weeks.
He was born Feb. 27, 1875 in the town of Alto, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Van Loo. He married Dina Loomans on May 1, 1901, and she died Oct. 29, 1940.
He was remarried on Sept. 30, 1944 to Ella Totz, who survives him. Also surviving is one son, Clarence of Menasha, a daughter, Mrs. Henry Kaminski, a step daughter, Mrs. Edwin Birechback of Monroe, eight grandchildren, one brother, Gerrit, and a sister, Mrs. Henry Hopp, of Waupun.
He was a member of the First Reformed church. His first work in years years of his marriage was farming, after which he operated the Buick and Oakland garage, which was at the present Ford garage location, for several years. He was a general carpenter and contractor for several years and he was also engineer over the Matt Rens Hemp Mill.
The body was in state at the Beyers Funeral home until Tuesday noon when it was taken to the First Reformed church where services were held at 2 p.m. The Rev. William Rosenberg officiated. Burial was in Alto cemetery.

Mrs. Van Loo, 64, Dies at Home Tuesday Nifgt: Funeral Will Be Friday
Mrs. Edward Van Loo, 64, died in her home at 529 East Franklin street at 10 p.m. Tuesday following an illness of six months.
Mrs. Van Loo, nee Loomans, was born in the town of Alto, Sept. 6, 1876, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Henry Loomans. She was married in May, 1901, to Mr. Van Loo. The couple moved to Waupun in 1911 with Mr. Van Loo engaging in the garage and contracting business.
Survivors are the widower, one son, Clarence, of Bibbing, Minn.; one daughter, Mrs. Henry Kaminski of Waupun; four brothers, John Loomans of Fairwater, and Cornelius and Albert of Waupun; two sisters, Mrs. John Ter Beest of Alto and Mrs. Sarah Prange of Waupun.
The funeral will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the home and at 2 p.m. in the First Reformed church in Waupun with the Rev. E. H. Tanis officiating. Burial will be in the Alto cemetery. Pallbearers will be. Dr. L. T. Donovan, George Stelsel, Matt Rens, W. A. Wagner, Wilbert Kloosterboer, and Fred Rabehl.
