The Leader News-Oct. 18, 1934: Illness Is Fatal to Vande Zande Infant Phyllis Mae, 9-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ebert Vande Zande died at the Waupun hospital early Wednesday morning following an illness with influenza and pnemonia. The baby is survived by her parents and one brother. The Rev. Anthony Karreman will conduct funeral services at the Vande Zande home at 1:30 Friday afternoon with burial at Forest Mound cemetery. The pallbearers will be four cousins of the deceased.
