Helen J. Hopp was born December 04, 1943 in Markesan, Green Lake County, Wisconsin, and died May 02, 1985 in Waupun, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin.  She married James Arthur Searvogel PRIVATE.  He was born PRIVATE . Children of Helen Hopp and James Searvogel are:   Kurt Allen Searvogel, born PRIVATE.   Kevin Dean Searvogel, born December 22, 1964 in Waupun Memorial Hospital, Waupun, Dodge County, Wisconsin; died August 16, 1998 in At a Church Camp, Chetek, Wisconsin.

The Leader News- May 7 & 8, 1985; Funeral services were held Monday at  the First Reformed Church, Waupun for Helen (Mrs. James) Searvogel,  41, 307 Brandon St.. Waupun. The Rev. Irven Jungling officiated. Burial was in the Alto Cemetery,  Alto. Searvogel died May 2 at St. Mary's Hospital Madison. She was bom December 4, 1943 in Markesan, the daughter of Delmar and Elizabeth Aalsma Hoop. She graduated from Waupun High School in 1961, and was married to James Searvogel. She lived all her married life in Waupun where she was a homemaker and computer operator at Grand River Co-op in Markesan. She was a member of First Reformed Church and  Waupun Lioness Club Survivors include her husband; two sons, Kurt and Kevin, both of Waupun; two grandchildren: her stepmother, Mrs. Lola, Hopp of Waupun a brother, Franklin  Hopp of Waupun; and a stepsister, Mrs. Harold (Mary) Hartgerink of Waupun. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Herbert.
