Christiana (Cora) Westhuis October 25, 1915 in the Town of Alto, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin.  She was born March 19, 1880 in the Town of Alto, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, and died July 15, 1980 in Waupun Christian Home, Waupun, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

Henry Van Buren, who resides five miles northwest of Alto, passed away suddenly at 11:30 o'clock Monday evening. Physicians believe his death was caused by heart trouble as he had retired a short time before apparently in good health.
Funeral services were held this afternoon (Thursday) at 1 o'clock from the home and at 2 o'clock from the Reformed church in Alto with the Rev. J. H. Kregel officiating.
Mr. Van Buren was born in the town of Alto 52 years ago, and has been married twice. His first wife was Reeka Bronkhorst. Three children who now survive, were born to the Couple. They are Arnold, Elmer, and Melvin. He later married Miss Cora, who with two daughters, surviving him. He also leaves his father, Albert Van Buren, and five brothers, namely, Ed, John, Arthur, Albert, and James; four sisters, Mrs. Corneil Bronkhorst, Mrs. John Vossekuil, Mrs. Barney Vanden Berg, and Mrs. Hubert Duitman
Burial was in the Alto cemetery.

Mrs. Cora Van Buren, 100, a resident of the Christian Home Waupun, for 10 years, died Tuesday, July 15, 1980, at the home.
She was born March 19, 1880, in the Town of Alto. She was a daughter of Arie and Alice Schouten Westhuis. She was married to Henry Van Buren Oct 28, 1915, in the Town of Alto.
The couple farmed in Alto for many years. She was a member of Alto Reformed Church and the Ladies Missionary Circle.
Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Alice Van Buren, Waupun; 13 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1932, two sons, three daughters, four stepsons, one stepdaughter, two grandchildren, five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Alto Reformed Church. The Rev. Andy Kamphuis and Gary Van Heuklen officated. Burial was in the Alto Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Kohls Funeral Home and from noon until the time of services Friday at the church.

Funeral services for  Arnold Van Buren of a general store in Alto were held Dec. 16 at 1 p.m. from the residence and at 1:30 from the Alto Reformed church of which a member. The Rev. J. H. Kregel officiated.

Arnold. Van Buren was born in Alto 28 years ago and was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Van Buren.
He was married to Miss Mae Rutgers in October of 1930 and is survived two brothers, Elmer and Melvin,
and a  step-mother, Mrs. H. Van.Buren.
