Herman Peters, 81, of 426 Jackson St., Waupun, died Tuesday evening at the home of his daughter, where he resided for the past five years.
He was bom Nov. 18,1894, in the Town of Alto, the son of Alien and Edith Harmsen Peters. He and Bernice Vander Bosch were married in Altoin 1917.

Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Bouwkamp officiated. Interment was in the Alto
Cemetery, Alto.

A longtime resident of the Waupun-Alto area-Mrs. Henry Peters, 68, died suddenly in her home, Dec. 11 following a heart attack.
Mrs. Peters, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Garret Vander Bosch, was born in Alto June 23, 1895. She married Mr. Peters Sept. 13, 1917 and they made their home in the Alto-Waupun area.
She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Roy Meenk; three grandchildren, and a brother, Ellis Vander Bosch, Alto. Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister.
Funeral services were held Dec. 14 at Kohls Company Funeral Home with the Rev. LeRoy Sandee, pastor of the Alto Reformed Church, in charge. Interment was in the Alto cemetery.
Serving as pall bearers at the service were: Elton Meenk, Lester Vander Bosch, Harold Vander Bosch, Junior Prange, Alfred Loomans and James Nickel.
