Mrs. Jane Hopp, 81, Died Tuesday; Will Hold Service Today.
      Mrs. Jane Hopp, 81, 713 West Main Street, died at the Waupun Memorial Hospital Tuesday morning.
      Mrs. Hopp, the former Jane Van Loo was born Dec 18, 1879, in the town of Alto, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Van Loo. She was married in 1902, to Henry Hopp, who preceded her in death in 1917. She was a resident of the town of Alto until moving to Waupun a few years ago.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Charles Navis, Brandon; three sons, Garret and Clarence of the town of Alto, and Delmar, Waupun; one brother, Gerrit Van Loo, Waupun; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her husband, parents, one son, three sisters, and a brother preceded her in death.
      Mrs. Hopp was a member of the Alto Reformed church.
      The body will lie in state in the Beyers Funeral home from Wednesday noon until Thursday noon, when it will be taken to the Alto Reformed church. Service will be held in the church at 2 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. LeRoy Sandee officiating. Burial will be in the Alto cemetery.
      Pallbearers will be six grandsons, Milton Navis, Jerome Franklin, Harlan, and Arthur Hopp, and Gordon Smits.

Henry E. Hopp
Henry E. Hopp died at his home in the town of Waupun at 6 o'clock Tuesday evening, July 31, 1917. His death came as a sudden surprise and shock to his family, for he had been working in the field that afternoon and was sick but a few hours. He had reached the aged of 37 years, 6 months and 27 days, and is survived by his wife, five children, mother, brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 o'clock from the house and at 2 p.m. from the Reformed church in this city, Rev. J. J. Hollebrands officiating, interment in Alto cemetery.
