John L. Peters, 69, of Twin Falls, Idaho, brother of Lambert and Arthur Peters and brother-in-law of Tim Van Deelan of Waupun, died Saturday in Twin Falls following a week's illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday with burial in Twin Falls. Mr. Peters was born March 6, 1875, in the Netherlands and resided in Waupun while a young man. At one time he was associated in the contracting business with the late William Neevel. The Peterses moved to Twin Falls 30 years ago. He is survived by his wife, the former Catherine Van Deelen, four sons, two daughters, five brothers, Lambert and Arthur Peters of Waupun, Henry Peters of Fond du Lac, and Gerrit and Guy Peters of Twin Falls; and a sister, Mrs. John Molenkamp of Twin Falls, Mr. Peters' first wife, the former Minnie Hendricks died in 1919. |

A telegram last Wednesday announced to Mr. and Mrs. Gerret Hendricks the death of their daughter, Mrs. John L. Peters, at Twin Falls, Idaho, on Sept. 10th 1919 from Typhoid fever. Mrs. Peters was born and raised in this vicinity, her maiden name being Mina Hendricks. She was married to John L. Peters who was engaged before going west in the carpenter business here with Wm. Neevel in this city. Beside her husband she is survived by her parents, one brother and three sisters, living in this city and community. Burial took place in Idaho. |
