PORTAGE REGISTER-DEMOCART, AUG. 15, 1929; Word has been recieved of the death of John Seibel a former Portage resident at 5 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in Madison. Mr. Seibel was the father of Frank Seibel of this city and a brother of Mrs. Charles Vesely, Portage, Besides his widow, Mr. Seibel  is survived by three daughters and three sons. WISCONSIN JOURNAL-aPRIL 14, 1929; John Seibel, 70, Succumbs Tuesday Funeral Services to be held  from residence, church, Thursday. John Seibel, 70, died at his home at 203 North Brearly Street, Tuesday afternoon. He is survived by his wife; three sons, Frank, Poratge, Ray, Kilboun; Alfred, Madison; three daughters, Sister Mary Mercy, River Forrest;  Mrs. Oscar Talle and Mrs. R.T. Tobias, Madison; three sisters, Mrs. William Dunn, Prentice; Mrs. Charles Vesely, and Mrs. Joseph Raup, Portage; and seven grandchildren. Friends may view the body at Hoevier Funeral Parlors today and Thursday morning. Funeral services will be held from the home Friday at 8:30 a.m. and at 9 a.m. from the Holy Redeemer Church. The Rev. John Feest will officiate. Interment will be at Holy Cross cemetery.

THE CAPITAL TIMES-AUG. 11, 1947-Mrs. Ida Seibel Dies at age 86- Mrs. Ida Seibel, 86, died Sunday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Viola Tobias, 202 N. Brearly St., She had been a resident of Madison 40 years. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Church and of the Christian Mother's Society. Mrs. Seibel is survived  by three daughters, Mrs. Tobias; Sister Mary Mercy, St. Clara convent Sisinawa; Mrs. Oscar Talle, La Crosse; one sister, Mrs. Understock, Lowell, Wis. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. in the Ryan Funeral Home and at 9 holy Redeemer Church, with the Rev. Fr. Joseph H. Gabriel's officiating.
