FALL RIVER - Brian K. "Beaner" Errthum, 37, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 11, at 2 p.m., at the Fall River United Methodist Church, Fall River. The Rev. Wayne Hull will officiated. Interment will be in the Fall River Cemetery, Fall River.
Brian was born on March 29, 1967 in Schoughton, the son of Gary and Dee (Ballweg) Errthum.
Brian was a 1985 graduate of Columbus High School. He was married to LeAnn Dykstra on March 23, 1996, in Fall River. He was a lead supervisor at E.K. Machine Co. Inc. in Fall River, his family business, where he worked for the past 19 years. He was a dedicated volunteer for the Fall River fire Deptment and for many others in his community where he often volunteered his time. He was a follower of sports and a Minnesota Vikings fan. He loved playing softball, fishing and throwing darts. He was a NASCAR enthusiast.
Survivors include his wife, LeAnn and two sons, Sean and Derek, all of Fall Rivers; his parents, Gary and Dee Errthum, Columbus; one sister, Sherri (Steven) Dowdell, Columbus, one brother, Jeff Errthum, Columbus; paternal grandmother, Florence Errthum, Bloomington; maternal grandparents, Philip and Dottie Ballweg, Poynette, father and mother-in-law Eugene and Sandra Dykstra, Fall River; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Debbie (Guy) Robbins, Diane (Bob) Ebert, Mike Dykstra, all of Fall River, and Pat (Mike) Heldstab, Rice Lake, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Alfred Errthum; maternal; grandmother, Ruth Ballweg, and one uncle, Keith Ballweg.
Friends may call on Wednesday, Aug. 11, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., at the Fall River United Methodist Church.
Memorials may be made to the family or Anchor Bank where a trust fund has been established hor his children.
