Lester Seibel, 65, Columbus, Wis., died Tuesday, April 20, at a Madison Hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held Firday 23, at St. Jerome's Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment was at St. Jerome's Cemetery, Columbus. Survivors includes his wife, the former Bertha Parrell; one daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Francis) Alderden, Beaver Dam; threee sons, Harold, Columbus, Miss; Dale, Beaver Dam, Franklin, Columbus; two sisters, Mrs. Arvid (Delores) Mielke and Mrs. William (Aleva) Peters, both of Beaver Dam; thirteen grandchildren and nieces and newphews. Mr. Seibel was a former Fox Lake Restaurant and operated The Home Cafe for numbers of years. The Jones Funeral Home, Columbus, Handed the arrangements.

Seibel, 77, 308 Smith Dr., Beaver Dam, died Tuesday, May 30, 1989, at the University of Wisconsin Hospital, Madison, Wis.The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday from St. Jerome Catholic Church, Columbus, with the Rev. Ambrose Holzer officiating. Burial will be in St. Jerome Cemetery, Columbus.Mrs. Seibel was born on Jan. 29, 1912, in the Township of Vermont, Black Earth, Wis., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Parrell. She married to Lester Seibel on Dec. 19, 1931, in Mazomanie, Wis.She graduated from Mazomanie High School. She and her husband owned and operated the Home Cafe in Fox Lake from 1945 to 1956. She moved to Cloumbus in 1962 and employed as a cook for Cloumbus Hospital for 10 years, retiring in 1977. She moved to Beaver Dam and was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Beaver Dam.Survivors include one daughter, Frances (Marvin) Alderden, Beaver Dam; three sons, Harold (Nancy) Seibel, Columbus, Dale (Kay) Seibel and Franklin Seibel, Fall River, two sisters, Emma West, Fort Atkinson, Wis., Edna Van Tassel, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1976, four brothers and three sisters.Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Jones-Jensen Funeral Home, Columbus. There will be a Parish Rosary at 8 p.m.
