Lillian Josephine Hopp was born February 22, 1919 in Waupun,  Wisconsin, and died August 09, 1984 in Waupun Memorial Hospital, Waupun, Dodge County, Wisconsin.  She married Peter J. Lont May 27, 1941 in Waupun,  Wisconsin.  He was born November 27, 1911 in Randolph, Wisconsin, and died September 20, 1995 Continental Manor Nursing Home, Randolph, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

Mrs. Peter (Lillian) Lont, 65, of 419 W. Franklin Street, Waupun, died Thursday evening, Aug. 9, at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
Lillian was born on Feb. 2, 1919 in Waupun the daughter of Herman and Minnie Vant Hoff Hopp. She married Peter on May 27, 1941 in Waupun. The couple farmed in the Randolph area for many years,prior to retiring in 1974, when they moved to the city of Waupun where they have lived since.
She was a former member of the Randolph 2nd Christian Reformed Church in Randolph and now is a member of the Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Waupun.
Survivors include; her widower; one son, James Lont of Waupun;one daughter, Mrs. David (Marlene) Schultz of Waupun; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. James (Mildred) Wierenga of Waupun, Mrs. Louis (Gladys) Jansma of Waupun.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lont were held on Saturday at Bethel Chrisitian Reformed in Waupun. Rev. John Kroon officiated. Burial followed at Alto Cemetery.
Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Peter J. Lont, 83, a resident of Continental Manor Nursing Home in Randolph, died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 1995, at the home.
He was born Nov. 27, 1911, in Randolph, the son of Jacob and Clara Bosma Lont. On May 27, 1941, he married Lillian Hopp in Waupun. Following their marriage, the couple farmed in the Waupun and Randolph areas, He was also empolyed by Rockwell of Randolph and area canning compaines.
He was a former member of the Second Christian Reformed Church in Randolph and First Christian Reformed Church in Waupun.
He is survived by one son, James Lont of Waupun; one daughter, Marlene (David) Schultz of Waupun; six Grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Dewey Lont of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Chester (Jeanette) Lont of Randolph.
Mr. Lont was preceded in death by his wife in 1984, his parents, one sister, one brother and one daughter-in-law.
Funeral services were Saturday at 1 p.m. at Werner-Harmsens Funeral Home in Waupun with the Rev. Steven Kay officiating. Burial followed at Alto Cemetery in Alto.
Friends and relatives were able to call at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.
