Robert H. (Bob) Olsen, 71, N2937 Savage Road, Waupun. died Saturday, Sept. 16, 1995, at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at 10:30 a.m. at First Reformed Church in Waupun with Rev. Donald Boss officiating. Burial took place at Forest Mound Cemetery, Waupun.
Mr. Olsen was born on Januray 4, 1924, in Madison, to Arthur and Josephine Jenkins Olsen. He married
Mae Te Beest.
He was a graduate of Madison East High School and had been employed as a telephone technician with the Wisconsin Bell Telephone Co., in Waupun for 44 years. He retired in 1986. He was also a member of the First Reformed Church Waupun and had served as a Deacon, he was a member of AARPS and had been active in various civic organizations and service clubs in Waupun. He served with the U.S. Army Air Force in the South-east Asian Theater during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Mae, of Waupun; one daughter, Diana Prause (Ronald) of St. Louis, MO; two sons, Jeff (Carla) of Waupun, Bill (Shelly) Olsen of Waupun; five grandchildren; one sister, Mary (Larry) Groom of California; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends were able to call on Monday, Sept. 18, from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of services.
