The Reporter-May 24, 2005: Marlene C. Schultz, 59, of Waupun, died Saturday evening, May 21, 2005, at her home. Marlene was born July 16, 1945, in Beaver Dam, the daughter of Peter and Lillian Hopp Lont. She married David C. Schultz in Randolph. Following their marriage the couple resided in Waupun all of their married life. Marlene had been employed at Rockwell Manufacturing in Randolph, Waupun Memorial Hospital in food service, and at Amity School as a teacher’s aide. She was a member of Emmanuel Reformed Church in Waupun where she had taught Sunday School, Catechism, and sang in the choir. Marlene and her brother Jim sang together at many churches and nursing homes. She is survived by her husband, David C. Schultz of Waupun; son, Matthew (Cassandra) Schultz of Waupun; grandson, Sean; brother, James (Donna) Lont of Randolph; aunt, uncle, nieces and nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. • Services: Funeral services for Marlene C. Schultz will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at Emmanuel Reformed Church in Waupun with the Rev. David Parrish officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in the Town of Trenton. • Visitation: Friends and relatives of Marlene Schultz may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun and from 9:30 until the 10:30 a.m. time of service on Wednesday at the church. Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home and staff is serving the family.
