Marvin A. Peters, 70, of N5101 Fox River Lane, Princeton, Wis., and formerly of Waupun, died Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, at his home.
The funeral will be Friday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun. The Rev. William Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Cattaraugus Cemetery, town of Waupun.
Mr. Peters was born Nov. 26, 1927, in Waupun, son of John and Minnie (Smits) Peters. He was married to Lillian Farr on July 6, 1952, in Texas.
He lived with his wife most of his life, and was employed at John Deere, Horicon, for over 30 years, retiring in 1977 when he moved to Princeton, Wis. He was a member of the American Legion Post #210 of Waupun and of Calvary Church, Princeton, Wis.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Peters of Little Chute, Wis.; John (Janet) Peters, of the town of Manchester, Wis.;  and Steven (fiancee Renee) Peters of Princeton, Wis.; four daughters, Kathy Conger of West Palm Beach, Fla., Robin Muraski of Fond du Lac, Wis., Janet Olson of Lannon, Wis., and Melody (John) Lewis of Princeton, Wis.; 16 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister, Johanna Kraft of Beaver Dam.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian, in 1988.
Friends may call on Thursday, Oct. 8, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun, and on Friday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to the funeral home.

Mrs. Marvin (Lillian) Peters, age 54, of Rural Princton, died Monday, Aug. 8, 1988 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
Mrs. Peters was born on Jnauray 20, 1934 in Alto the daughter of Marry and Alice (Fennema) Farr. Lillian married Marvin on July 6, 1953 in Texas. The couple lived in Waupun most of their married life where she was employed as a sewing machine operator for various area industies. They retired in 1976 and moved to Princeton where they lived since.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin; three sons, Larry of Fond du Lac, John and his wife Janet of Princeton, and Steve of Princeton; four daughters, Kathy Conger and her husband Arlin of Princeton, Robin Muraski of Fond du Lac, Janet Olson and her husband Tim of Menomonee Falls, and Melody Lweis and her husband John of Princeton; her mother; ten grandchildren; one brother Harry Lee Farr of Waupun; three sisters, Eleanor Miller (Vernon) of Waupun, Iva Linen of Belle Glade, Florida, and Mary Wollenberg of Oconomowoc.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Rodney.
Funeral services for Mrs. Peters were held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. James Herbolsheimer officiating. Burial followed at Cattaraugus Cemetery. Visitation were held on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
