Mrs. Mamie Fisher, 85, passed away Saturday, February 10, 1973 at Riverside Manor, Markesan after an illness. She was a former resident of Randolph. Funeral services were held Tuesday. February 13 at the Second Randolph Christian Reformed Church. Rev. John Verbrugge officiated with burial in the Randolph Cemetery. Mrs. Fisher was born March 7, 1887 in the Netherlands, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Posthuma. On October 3,1906, she married Sam Fisher at Friesland. She is survived by seven children, John, Gillett; George, Randolph; Joseph, Sheboygan; Mrs. Andrew (Effie) Westra, Randolph; Frank, Randolph; Fred, Clearwater, Florida; and Mrs. Albert (Jennie) Schaalma, Randolph; 33 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, Mrs. Sam Herringa, Friesland and 1 brother, Fred Posthuma, Friesland.
