Wesley Allen Westhuis, aged 70, 430 Neevel Ave., Waupun, died Thurs., Aug. 9, 1988 at Waupun Memorial Hospital. Mr. Westhuis was born July 1, 1918 in the Town of Alto, the son of Henry and Mary (Vant Hoff) Westhuis. He married Jean Lemmenes. The couple farmed in the Town of Trenton most of their married life prior to moving to Waupun in 1974. He had also been employed by Beaver Dam School District in the Maintenance Dept. He was a member of Trinity Reformed Church, Waupun. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Jean; four sons, Rev. Ross of Albany, NY, Bruce and his wife Debby of Menomiee, Major Dr. David and his wife Patricia of Germany, Philip and his wife Sharon of Virgin Island; two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Joan) Nummerdor of Green Lake and Mrs. Larry (Beth) Kaiden of Philadelphia, PA; 12 grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Lester (Angeline) Vande Zande of Jefferson, Mrs. Marvin (Helen) Schouten of Waupun and Mrs. Gordon (Joyce) Ten Pass of Burnett. Funeral services were held Monday at Trinity Reformed Church, the Rev. Louis Buytendrop officating. Visitation was held Sunday at Kohls Funeral Home, Waupun. Burial was Highland Memory Gardens, Town of Trenton. Memorials have been established for Bethany Missions or World Home Bible League. |
