Allan Burgess Bisbee was born May 29, 1879 in Minnesota, and died October 12, 1962 in Poynette, Columbia, Columbia County, Wisconsin.  He married Cora Lucinda Lomlinson Abt. 1907.  She was born January 03, 1878 in Wisconsin, and died May 24, 1953 in Columbia County, Wisconsin.

Allen B. Bisbee age 83, residingat 207 W. Thomaw St., passed away Friday morning at The Academy Lodge following an extended illness. Mr. Bisbee was a former cement mason and served as a police officer for the Village of Poynette for about fifteen years prior to his retirement. Friends may call at the Pflanz Funeral home in Poynette from 3:00 p.m. Sunday until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be held from the Pflanz Funeral Home in Poynette Monday at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. George E. Jacobus will officiate and the interment will be made in the Hillside Cemetery. Mr. Bisbee was a member of the First Methodist Church of Poynette. Survivors are four sons Orris, Portage, Milo, John and Clark, Poynette; two brother, Clifford, Poynette and James Wilmington, Calif; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a number of other near relatives.

Mrs. Cora Bisbee, 75, wife of Allen B. Bisbee, Poynette died early Sunday morning after a long illness. Funeral services will he held at two o'clock Tuesday at the Methodist Church at Poynette. POYNETTE -- Milo B. Bisbee, 72, of Poynette, died Friday, Dec. 14, 1984, at the Divine Savior Hospital in Portage.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Dec. 16, 1984, at the Poynette United Methodist Church at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Joyce Alford and the Rev. Logan Holder officiating. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Poynette. Friends may call from 1:30p.m. until time of services on Sunday at the church. There will no other visitation. The Pflanz Funeral Home of Poynette is serving the family.
Mr. Bisbee was born on Dec. 1, 1912, in Poynette, the son of Allen and Cora (Tomlinson) Bisbee. He served his county during World War II in the Navy. He owned and operated Milo's Grocery Store in Poynette for 20 years, retiring in 1972.
He was a member of the Poynette United Methodist Church where he was Custodian since his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion served on the Poynette Volunteer Fire Department for many years and had been a member of the Poynette Curling Club.
Survivors include his wife, Luella, at home, nieces, nephews, and other near relatives and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers; Orris, John and Clark.

POYNETTE/LODI-- Luella M. Bisbee, aged 85, of Poynette, died on Monday, January 29, 1996 at the Lodi Good Samaritan Center.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 1996 at 2:00 p.m. at Poynette United Methodist Church, with Rev. Ruth Churchill and Rev. Chet Okopski officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services at 2:00 p.m. The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette is assisting the family with arrangements.
Luella Bisbee was born on December 31, 1910 in Madison, Wisconsin, the daughter of Frederick and Bernice (Loomis) Anderson. She attended Poynette grade school and graduated for Poynette High School with the Class of 1928. Luella graduated from teacher's college, Columbia County Normal School, and taught for many years in rural schools. She was married on August 30, 1940 to Milo Bisbee, who preceded her in death on December 14, 1984. Together, they owned and operated Milo's Grocery from 1952 until 1972. Luella lived all her life in Poynette, until she moved to the Lodi Good Samaritan Center. She was a member of the Poynette United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School, belonged to Women's Associations, and played the piano. She was also a member of Poynette Royal Neighbors.
Survivors include two sisters, Charlotte Wilson, Janesville, and Alice (Charles) Charmley, Poynette; a nieces, Cecilia (Logan) Holder, Monona; two newphews, Frederick (Vicki) Roth, Allenton, and Charley (Lisa) Charmley, Poynette; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
