Hattie Van Buren, born January 05, 1892 in Trenton township, Dodge County, Wisconsin; died December 06, 1978 in Waupun Memorial Hospital, Waupun, Dodge County, Wisconsin. She married (1) John William Peters April 14, 1921 in First Reformed Church, Alto Township, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin; born 1890; died 1922. She married (2) Bert J. Hendricks October 14, 1926 in Calvary Presbyterian Church, Alto Township, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin; born October 25, 1879 in Apeldoorn/Uddel, Gelderland, Netherlands; died May 30, 1955 at his home, in Waupun, Wisconsin.
Mrs. Hattie Hendricks, age 86, Route 3, Waupun, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
She was born Jan. 5, 1892, in the Town of Trenton, the daughter of Jon and Fannie Van Buren Van Buren. In 1921 she married to William Peters. He died shortly after marriage. In 1926 she was married to Bert Hendricks and the couple farmed in the Town of Waupun for many years. Mr. Hendricks preceded her in death in 1955.
Mrs. Hendricks was a member of The Netherlands Reformed Church in Waupun.
She is survived by; three step-sons, Albert and Henry Hendricks, both of Waupun and John Hendricks; one step-daughter, Mrs. Dick Knoll, Waupun; 12 step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hendricks were held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home. The Rev. Leonard Kieboom officiated. Burial followed at the Alto Cemetery in Alto.
Visitation was held at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home Friday from 4 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday until time of services.

Bert J. Hendrlcks, 70, died suddenly Monday evening in his home in the town of Waupun.
Mr. Hendricks was born Oct. 25, 1879, in the Netherland, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hendricks. He came to this country in his youth and on Oct. 14, 1926, was married to Hattie Van Buren.
He had resided in this vicnity since that time.
Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Mrg. John Wilderman, of Waupun, four sons, John Hendricks, Henry B. Hendricks, Albert Henry Hendricks. and Maurice Hopp, all of Waupun.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Beyers Funerl home and at 2 p.m in the Netherlands Reformed church. Burial will be in the Alto cemetery.
