     WAUPUN -- Jennie Ebert, 78, 109 Welch St., Waupun, died Friday, Jan 13, 1989, at Waupun memorial Hospital.
      The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday from Kohls Funeral Home, Waupun, with the Rev. Michael Bausch officiating. Burial will be in Forest Mound Cemetery, Waupun.
      Mrs. Ebert was born on Oct. 6, 1910, in Waupun, the daughter of Evert and Anna (Van Buren) Gerritsen. She was married to James Luck. He preceded her in death. She was married to Lester Ebert on Nov. 22, 1963.
      She was a member of the Union Congregational Church, Waupun.
      Survivors include one step-son, James (Marjorie) Ebert, Barrington, Ill., two step-grandchildren; one sister, Marie Idhe, Waupun
      She was preceded in death by her first husband, second husband in 1988, one brother, Henry Gerritsen in 1988.
      Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Kohls Funeral Home, Waupun.

James S. Luck, 46, Died Sunday; Hold Services Tuesday
Funeral services were hel at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Pella Lutheran church for James S. Luck, 46, 15 West Main street, who died early Sunday in the Waupun Memorial hospital. The Rev. J. Ralph Hess officiated at the services. Burial was in Forest Mound cemetery.
Mr. Luck had been in ill health for several months but had been confined to the hospital only a short time.
He was born Dec. 15, 1912, in Waupun the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Luck. He attended Waupun schools and was graduated from the Waupun High school in 1931. He was married to Jennie Gerritsen on June 7, 1941.
He served in the U.S. army from 1942 to 1946, and following his discharge he and Mrs. Luck purchased and have since operated the Luck grocery, 101 East Main street.
He is survived by his wife, his mother, Mrs. Meta Luck, Waupun; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Peters and Mrs. Vern Verhulat, both of Waupun; two brothers, Alex, Waupun, and Earl, Beloit. One brother preceded him in death.
The body was in state in the Kohls Company Funeral home from 2 p.m. Monday until noon Tuesday, when it was taken to the Pella Lutheran church.
Serving as pallbearers were Rueben Kanzenbach, Floyd Baber, Walter Siddall, Otto Krueger, Wally Peters, and Rudy Weber.
Military rites were conducted by the Getchel-Nelson post of the American Legion.

Lester L. Ebert, aged 77, 109 Welch Street, Waupun died Friday, Nov. 4, 1988 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Ebert was born March 17, 1911 in Waupun, the son of Albert and Mary (Mulder) Ebert. He married Jennie Luck Nov. 22, 1963 in Waupun. He was a graduate of the Waupun High School, and had attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He had been employed by the Internal Revenue Service for 30 years and had been a District Manager in Des Plainess, Illinois. He was a member of the Union Congregational Church in Waupun. He was also a member of the Fox Lake Country Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Jennie of Waupun; one son, James L. Ebert of Barrington, Ill.; two grandchildren; and one brother, Bert Ebert of Waupun.
Funeral services were held Monday at 10 a.m. at Kohls Funeral Home in Waupun, the Rev. Michael Bausch officiating. Burial was in Forest Mound Cemetery. Visitation was held on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
