Joe Van Loo Dies in a Waukesha Hospital; Funeral Was Saturday
Joe Van Loo, 38, of Okauckee, former Waupun resident, died suddenly at 4 a.m. Thursday in the Waukesha Memorial hospital, where he had been taken when he became ill at work in the Grede foundry. Death was due to coronary thrombosis.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Beyers Funeral home with the Rev. N. E. Paustain of Oconowoc officiating. Burial was in Forest Mound cemetery.
Pallbearers were Frank Niessen, Don Peardson, and James Waters of Okauchee, James Johnston, Ed Peters and Aubrey Johannes of Waupun.
Mr. Van Loo was born Oct. 25, 1909, in the town of Trenton, a son of Mrs. John Van Loo and the late Mr. John Van Loo. He was married to Edith Johnson Sept. 20, 1945, the couple moving to Waukesha county.
He is survived by his wife, a son, Gay Arthur, one year old; his mother, Mrs. John Van Loo of Waupun, three brothers, Henry and William Van Loo of Waupun and Arthur Van Loo of Burlington, and two sisters, Miss Johanna Van Loo of Waupun and Mrs. Joe Van Buren of Burlington.
