PORTAGE Lucy E. Colstad, age 84, formerly of Poynette, died on Saturday, Octobcr 11, 1997 at the Divine Savior Hospital in Portage.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 1997 at 10:30 a.m. at Poynette United Methodist Church, with Pastor Sharon Jaekel officiating Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, October 14, 1997 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00
p.m. at the PHanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette, and on Wednesday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 10:30 a.m.
Lucy Colstad was born on February 9, 1913 in Wisconsin, the daughter of Ira and Kitty (Loomis) Bisbee. She was married to William Colstad. Lucy had worked at Oscar Mayer in Madison for over 25 years. She was a member of the Poynette United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" at home; two children, Evelyn (Steven) Deerwester, Leesburg, FL, and Larry (June) Colstad, Poynette; sister, Lulu Richards, Wausau; two sisters-in-law, Leone Bisbee, Lodi, and Waveny Bisbee, Whitewater; her grandchilen, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her pareants, two brothers, Dody and Alan Bisbee, and a granddaughter, Renay Ramirez.
