and died January 30, 1981 in Divine Savior's General Hospital, Portage, Columbia County, Wisconsin. 
She married
George L. Devine November 12, 1923 in Portage, Columbia County, Wisconsin.  He was born February 15, 1891, and died December 1984.

  Rose M. Devine, 84, of 105 E. Howard St died Saturday evening at the Divine Savior Hospital.
Mrs. Devine was born in Portage July 10, 1896, the daughter of Charles and Emma Vesely, and except for a few childhood years in Green Bay, she was a life long Portage resident.
She married George L. Devine in Portage on November 12,1923.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Catholic Women's Club and the Gold Star Mothers.
Her son Richard proceeded her in death.
Mrs. Devine is survived by her husband, George; two daughters, Mrs. Rosemary Miller. Jr. and
Mrs. Joan Herndon, both of Portages; one son, Dan of Portage; one sister, Mrs. Anne Amend of
Portage; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m.. from.St Mary's Catholic Church, the Rev. Thomas P. Marr officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.           ,
Friends may call at the Port-Axtell Funeral Home tonight from 4 to 9 p.m. where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.

PORTAGE - George L. Devine, age 93, a lifelong Poratge resident, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 1984 at Divine Savior Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held Fruday at 10 a.m. from St. Mary's Catholic Church in Portage. Father John Meoska will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Port-Axtell Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
Mr. Devine was born Feb. 15, 1891 to Richard and Getta Cushing Devine. He married Rose Mary Vesely Nov. 12, 1923 at Portage. He served in the armmed forces in World War I and was a retired Portage real estate broker. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, a fourth degree Knight and member of the C.W. Henney Knights of Columbus Council and the American Legion Richard W. Mulcahy Post no. 47.
He is survived by one son, Daniel (Rita) Devine of Portage; two daughters, Mrs. Rose Mary (WAlter) Miller of Mission, Tex., Mrs. Joan (Leo) Brotkowski of Portage; three sisters, Mrs. Gretta Lynch of Madison, Mrs. Elizabeth (Bess) Dalton of Portage, Mrs. Blanche Nelson of Whittier, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was precded in death by his wife Rose Marie, a son Richard, four brothers and one sister.
