Funeral Services For Norris Tamminga to Be Held Thursday
. Norris Tamminga, 37, Randolph, died Sunday evening while he and his family were driving in Fox Like in a car.
Dodge County Sheriff Orlie Uttech and Coroner Dr. 0. F Goetsch said Tamminga
died of an apparent heart attack, near
the Fox Like city limits. The Fox Lake Rescue Squad was called and Tamminga was taken to St.  Joseph's Hospital, Beaver Dam, but to no avail.
Uttech said Tamminga was driving his car when he became ill. He was able to stop his vehicle, authorities said.,
The coroner placed the time of death at about 8:15 p. m.
Funeral  services for Norrls Tamminga will be held on Thursday, April l6 (today) at the
First Reformed Church of Randolph
at 2  p.m. with the Rev. John Frey officiating. Interment will be in the Randolph cemetery.
He was born on October 7, 1926 at Cambria the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Tamminga.
He was married to Winnetta Posthuma.
He had lived his entire life in the Randolph area, and was a member of the First Reformed Church of Randolph. He was presently employed by the Randolph Public Schools as custodian and had
driven school bus for a number of years.
He was a member of the Randolph volunteer fire department; also a
veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Winnetta, one son, James Norris, two daughters, Linda, and Marlene, all at home,
his mother, one brother Ted (Randolph), five sisters, Mrs. Peter (Nina) DeVries, (Randolph); Mrs. Frank. (Jeannette) DeVries, (Randolph);. Mrs. Frederic (Agnes) Miller, (Beaver Darm); Mrs. Richard (Margarea) Cupery (Randolph); Mrs. George (Clareen) Huebner (Fort Lee, Va.).
Also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Walter Braaksma, 72, 290 Williams St., Randolph, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 1991, at the Univernsity of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, Wis. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday from the First Reformed Church of Randolph, with the Rev. Calvin J. Vande Zande officiating. Burial will be in the Randolph Cemetery. Graveside services will be conducted by the John E. Miller American Legion Post 146 of Beaver Dam and the Randolph VFW Post 9510. Mr. Braaksma was born on Dec. 16, 1918, in Columbia County, the son of Dewey and Minnie (Vander Wol) Braaksma. He was married to Winnetta Posthuma . He was a lineman for the Wisconsin Power & Lights Co., for 37 years. Survivors include his wife, Randolph; one daughter, Debbie (Dennie) Wolff, Beaver Dam; two step-daughters, Linda (Jerry) Schumson, Madison, Wis., Marlene (Randy) Alsum, Randolph; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Ann (Sam) Meekma, Randolph, Dena Olson, Paduch, Ky., Betty Jane (George) De Nure, Rio; five brothers, Harold (Leona), Inverness, Fla., Ray Braaksma, Dunedin, Fla., Marvin (Francis) Odessa, Fla., Peter (Helen), Aurora, Colo., Donald (Betty), Castra-Rica. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, John, one step-son, James. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday from the Schmidt Funeral Home, Randolph, and on Saturday from noon until the time of the service at the church.
