Rembrandt van Rijn
The Rembrandt van Rijn, named after the famous Dutch painter, started her life in Holland as a Herring Lugger in the early 1900's. Her charm has been retained through two reconstructions: one after W.W.I, another in 1993 when the Dutch shipyard "A&G" converted her into a 3-mast gaff topsail schooner with modern accommodations --all fully air-conditioned. Her cabins have upper and lower single berths and each have a full bath with hot shower. On board, you can enjoy the handsomely designed wood paneling of the bar and lounge and the elegant dining room where the chef will prepare delicious meals and snacks from a varied international menu. And after snorkeling in the Galapagos waters, take some time to dry off on deck under the white sails of the artful Rembrandt.
