Gary is Professor of TESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) at the Institute for Language Education, Southern New Hampshire University. He is also an actor and writer. Thus, his interests come together in his specialization: Teaching English through Drama.
He is also owner/editor of Carlisle Publications where he publishes books related to drama in English language teaching.
He has an additional special interest in Asian cultures, having spent time teaching in Vietnam and Thailand.
He is married to a Thai lady and they have been living continuously in Manchester, New Hampshire since 1982 when Gary began teaching at Southern New Hampshire University. Their home and the home of Carlisle Publications is on the beautiful Merrimack River.
