Biography
Valerie is a 5'9 middle hitter from Urbana, IL. While
in Urbana, Valerie played volleyball for four years in high school
where she was named MVP her junior year and also received honors
as the best blocker, server, and hitter for the varsity and junior
varsity teams. Valerie also sang in her school's choir for four
years which included a trip to Italy to sing for The Pope. She
was named Outstanding Musician 3 years in a row and also danced
on the dance team for three years. As a two-time dance captain,
Valerie's squad finished second in the National Dance Championships
her junior year and first her senior year. While at Greenville,
Valerie plans on running track and cheerleading in addition to
playing volleyball.
