WOMENAT THE WELL
A place for those who thirst
for living water

Jesus said;"If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink."
John 7:37 NJKV
He replied,; " If you only knew what a wonderful gift God has for you, and who I am, you would ask me for some living water!" John 4: 10 LB
Another Woman at the Well

Jesus said; " If I be lifted up,
I'll draw all men to me."
Lord help me to lay down my selfish ways,
Till you're the only one they see.

I met you at the well one day,
You knew all about my past.
Yet you gave me living water,
That would quinch my thirst at last!

I never met a man like you before,
So I brought my friends to you.
They came to see the one I praised,
And now they know you too.

So Lord be lifted up in me,
No matter where I go,
And when I open up my mouth to speak
Let your living water flow..

Then the woman left her waterpot beside the well, and went back into the city and told the men; "Come see the man who told me every -thing I ever did!"  Can this be the Messiah? So the people came streaming from the city to see him. John 4: 28-30 LB
The Song that is playing in the background is a favorite of mine.
It was written by
Richard Blanshard c1959
It reminds me of how Jesus goes out of His way to meet us,even though we may not be seeking Him. He knows everything about us and is always ready to fill our cup...if we just ask .
FILL MY CUP LORD
v-1

Like the woman at the well I was seeking
For things that could not satisfy:
And then I heard my Savior speaking:
Draw from the well that never shall run dry.

chorus

Fill my cup Lord, I lift it up Lord!
Come and quench this thirsting of my soul;
Bread of Heaven, fill me till I want no more--
Fill my cup, fill it up and make me whole!

v2

There are millions in this world who are craving
The pleasures earthly things afford;
But none can match the wondrous treasure
That I find in Jesus Christ my Lord.

v3

So, my brother, if the things this world gave you
Leaves hunger that will not pass away,
My blessed Lord will come and save you,
If you kneel to Him and humbly Pray:
