This weeks new geek is Chris Iijima, nominated by Amanda Ng and Jessica Chow.  Here's what they wrote in their email:
"Hi! Amanda Ng and I (Jessica Chow) would like to nominate Chris Iijima as a Geek Of The Week. It was supposed to be a surprise but then he found a copy of the list we made... ;P

Reasons why Chris would be a good Geek Of The Week:

- He basically has every anime series ever distributed, stacked in many many CD spools. He also distributes the anime online over IRC, using his comp as a server.
- He has TONS of MP3s and video files of many different genres.
- He has many DLed movies and computer games on several CD spools.
- He is very good at Counter Strike. He belongs to a clan and has practice multiple times a week. He once got so bored, he taped his speakers onto his dorm room ceiling to get a better surround sound effect for playing CS. He's currently trying to teach my brother and me how to play, and we'll supposedly be as good as him someday. ;P
- He is practically a DDR maniac, playing singles or doubles with whatever settings you can throw at him ... and he miraculously passes most of them.
- He used to maintain a weblog daily, and even belonged to a grouplog with 15 other people.
- Most of all, he is a computer *genius.* He built his own computer, as well as many others. Sometimes he has two mice/keyboards connected to his computer at one time. Once, he saw a man walking down the street and recognized him as one of the (more incompetent) customer service employees from Fry's. He is networking my entire house (4 computers), and is going to fix our cable modem once we get it so all of our computers have cable.

I had computer maintenance with that boy, and yes, he is very very geeky.  He'd bring in VCDs from China Town that he'd pick up to watch in class, because we did very little in that class except play quake, old ROMs, and watch DVD/VCDs.  Geek on!
...yeah...geeky....
