Michele Mason-Brown

  • Born 03 July 1939
  • Australia/NSW

    Michele Mason first competed at an Olympic Games in 1956, where she surprised with her sixth placing.  She was not selected in the 1960 Olympic team, but bounced back to win a silver medal at the 1964 Games.

    Soon after the Games, she became only the second woman in the world to clear six feet (1.83m) when she set a Commonwealth record.
