- Concept Boats
So far, this paddlewheel version of "Lisa B. Good" is just a dream. Paddlewheelers are impractical, but so are all pleasure boats.  I was thinking about an 8 hp Briggs and Stratton here, with a simple idler to tighten the belt for a clutch. Reverse would be a sweep or a pole on the forward deck.  But shouldn't there be a boiler and a pile of wood on the forward deck?  Maybe make the hull a couple feet longer?
