"Dave is a solid player. I usually hang with Dave in the middle or the back. We keep the other Geezers pointed in the right direction without the front having to worry about our six. Works out very well. Painter can empty his pods with the best of them, and lives up to his surname. I can think of no better handle than the one he came with." (GF). |

The Kid A short Bio of and by Painter Dave Painter Unlike the other geezers, I'm just a pup @ 36 years of age. The first gun I ever played with was a Stringray - It was a rental and you could hear it a mile away. After a ½ season of renting I purchased my first gun - VM 68. It shot like a cannon and was just as heavy. You could do anything to that gun - stick it in the mud (did that), back the truck up over it (did that) and it just kept on shooting. The next upgrade was to an Automag - Easy to operate and very few problems. Not being the mechanical type I opted for something that was easy to maintain. The most recent upgrade is to the Angel (Sunset color scheme) with matching red Viewloader 12volt and matching red pods. Took the gun out of the box and haven't had a single problem with it. Simply the best gun I've owned - as long as you feed it plenty of paint. My next upgrade is going to be a full pack and supply cart. As the youngest Geezer I am in charge of re-supply and heavy artillery. That means I carry everyone's paint and the group's mortar. I didn't say I get to shoot it, just carry it around for everyone else to use. Future upgrade - A Geezer Cocker - custom made top of the line Auto Cocker. It'll take some getting use to, but I'm starting to feel the pressure from the other Geezers. I always play in black. Don't know why, but that's just the way it's been for the past few years and I'm sticking with it. (Uh.. Painter wears whatever's called for in the scenario. See photo above.) Look for us at Fox 4 Paintball Field in Upton, MA or at Skirmish playing in the scenario games. |
