Moment by moment I stray away
From what I know is real;
And I live on day by day,
In my own world of fantasy surreal.

I close my eyes and I dream;
And i escape from reality;
And dark clouds join in a seam
as they hide me.

The tranquil peace is sweet
And I savor it as the night
Passes and I greet
Before i take to flight.

The dark clouds disperse;
Beacons come through.
The moon rays immerse;
The sun rises anew.

I lie in silence and then I stir;
I open my eyes and I see
Everything as it once were...
Because I am back in reality.
