There is a place many have gone;
yet, few come back to tell of.
It is by grace, the Good Book says,
one enters there into the Lord's embrace of love.
Through mortal eyes it cannot be seen;
though, it be more real than matter.
In this place, called Paradise,
living beings, and created things
can never die, nor shatter.
In this place there is no time;
for, there, time is erased.
In this place there is no darkness.
There, darkness is displaced.
Every individual, entering Paradise,
is first renewed in body; and, secondly, in mind.
To their delight, a gleeful surprise!
They feel no pain, or sorrow; nor, loss of any kind!
Neither carnal vice, nor earthly device,
give the extraordinary experience of pleasure,
which, only in Paradise, souls find!
