Floriana Hall's SPEAKING OF HARMONY
If we could speak all languages
As was heard on Pentecost,
If we could understand each one of them
Civility might not be lost.
If fairness was a fact of life
When realistically, it's never been,
Then there would never be a war
Nor would there be so much sin.
If we could solve universal problems,
Congeniality with all nations,
Then there would be no terrorists,
No threats to civilization.
If we could feed the whole wide world
And their bellies were satisfied,
If we could house all the homeless,
Negotiations might succeed if tried.
If we could please most everyone,
However, that could'nt ever be.
Unless we find our way to heaven
Where there is perfect harmony.
