Isn't is amazing that God gave us 
such a wide range of emotions?
Every minute of any hour
or on any given day
Feelings change like a clock ticking
As rapidly as a heart beats,
As sure as life or death.

Love, common to all spirits, 
Increases the excitement,
Sweet at any age,
Throwing caution to the wind.

Love of children is a tie that binds
Through pain and pleasure,
Pride or disappointment,
Responsive to all emotions.

When a love has passed away,
While stumbling through the healing
Sadness and despair merge
Until time produces acceptance.

Anger, rage, retaliation or envy
Punishes itself and causes anxiety 
Damaging to the psyche,
Until calm and kindness return.

Physical pain humbles everyone
While comfort is happiness,
A soothing voice music to the soul,
A balm in life's chronicles.

Fear perhaps avoids danger,
But courage sometimes conquers fear.
Peace is craved by the universe,
Needed is a victory resulting in peace.

Our skeleton of armour
Is not desolation or deceit,
God is the answer we seek
Protected by infinite love.
