I find you in every song
Someone, somewhere, knew what to write
And placed you in a lyric

A line, a word or a fragment
And there you are again
So clear, so fresh in my mind

Muted memories without sound
Smiling while remembering
The honor of knowing you

No sadness I feel
Time washed all of that away
And in its place smiles appeared
When I think of you

I loved you, didn’t I?
You loved me too, didn’t you?
This love is contained within me
The answer, needs no answer
Simply affirming a yes
I know this is true

A new found joy
Radiating from my heart
Peaceful thoughts
Warm and comfy
While music surrounds

These words are not for you
-They are for me-
Speaking thoughts, I could never say
Reminiscing and remembering
For a minute or two
A moment, a glance, a time
You were with me
I was with you
-And-
Someone, somewhere
Composed the words
Made the music
And I remember you…….
