I search for a lighthouse
On a cliff, high, above it all
Overlooking life’s troubled seas
For I am the ship
Lost in the night
Searching always searching
For a glimmer of light
A beacon of hope
For those who are lost
There must be a light house
Here, somewhere
To keep me from the rocks
Waves around me crashing
I splinter from the strain
Praying for the light
To guide me safely in
My hope is dwindling away
As the sea calls me to my grave
Before she can claim me
The beacon appears
Lights twirling and flashing
Finally bringing the light
My way…..
