I look to the future
not for determinations
of change
but for
New Beginnings.
 
I look toward the rising sun
with thanks,
assess
what I can bring worthily to
this New Day.
 
I look into faces
passed on streets
give them a smile,
leaving them a part of
my New Beginning.
 
I bow my head
to God in refuge
appraise
my day, what have I achieved?
Do I deserve to see The New Dawn?
