To the living Savior, who died for my sins; shed His holy blood for me.
Take my hand, oh Lord, and help me be more pleasing to Thee.

Hold my hand tightly, Lord, that I may be fearless through the night,
‘Til you come that day, to lift us up and take us far out of sight . . .
To the mansion Thou prepared, for all who put their heart in Thy care.
So, hold my hand, while in this land, that I'll be with Thee in Heaven there.
