Sadina Roselin's "Magic Hill"
© 2003-2004 by Sadina Roselin
Somewhere in the desert, there is a magic Hill
Its sweet mood pale open everyone sight
And displays into my heart its glowing peace
Far as it is I like to see it
The secret that shut out the view from my horizon
Express a brief and a senseless reason
" I stay here"
"Gaze and imagine"
A wide space stretch within my mind
"An eternal silence"
"Deep, calm and tense"
Then I behold how gloomy mist disperses
In limpid space suffused with sunny beams
That only on the furthest peaks immerses
But one's heart keeping broken
Overwhelming with dread
Assuming torment for one head
And I am shaken as with tempest soaring
In sacred ruptured when frantic scream
The fervent drift that hope imploring
For the breeze that drones on the ground
And compare the fun of that eternal silence
" And think of an eternity"
" And the fun of it"
My thought raises in intensity
And shipwreck O! It is cold in such plea.
