Misery glows deep in my heart,
Pinching each layer like a callous child,
Never wanting to leave my world...
I, a victim, tasting the unbearable pain.
Summers never shine,
Misery glows deep in my heart.
Nighttimes, moaning without moonlight,
The squeaking of a night bird, wailing by my ears.
Spring flowers never blossom,
They sit like angels without wings.
Misery glows deep in my heart,
Slowly, eating my life away.
The somber shadow of happiness, a melting snowflake,
Leaving behind auburn spots on my flesh.
Amber joy trickles away,
on the Nile.
