Do you hear the weeping?
Little children are in fear
Monsters all around them
Please tell me that you hear.

Where are these fiends?
You might ask
Not seeing them in sight
Is it just a child's imagination
Of things bumping in the night?

Take a closer look my friend
At who is standing there
Beside that dear sweet child
Pretending that they care

How could someone
Who brought them life
Inflict such horrid pain
Torture so inhuman
To cause such guilt and shame

Tell me do you hear them now?
Pleading every day
Look a little closer
And please believe in what they say

Do you see the scars?
They try so hard to hide?
Even worse are the ones
They wear on the inside

So pay attention
I cry out
To their frightened pleas
Let someone save the children
So they all may live in peace
