Litoria alboguttata - Greenstripe Frog

Identification:
Length 80 mm. Olive-brown to pale green with brown patches and prominent
pale yellow/green stripe down middle of back; back warty with distinctive
longitudinal skin folds from shoulder to groin; dark streak from snout through
the eye, ear disc, over shoulder to beyond forearm; top lip broadly marbled
black to dark grey; area between dark streak and top lip green; the backs
of the thighs are dark with large white or yellow spots; underneath white,
often with flecks of brown on throat and chest. Fingers unwebbed, toes about
half webbed. This is the only burrowing species of Litoria.
Habitat and Range: Lowland alluvial flats, woodland and cleared areas. Declining locally. Usually only seen around temporary pools and water filled clay pans. North eastern and central eastern Australia

Loose clump or mat laid on surface amongst vegetation.
Tadpoles: Uniformly brown tadpole.
