The Gem Cloggers was started in 1994 by Kari Hale and a handful of members. The Gem Cloggers have seen many changes recently including changing ownership and getting their own building. Gem Cloggers is currently owned by Dian Streeby and is growing rapidly with several new beginning teams. Clogging is an activity for people of all ages, and the group shows this with a team for adults as well as one for youngsters. Beginners have fun learning the basics and performing locally while those who have been clogging a little longer travel to test their skills at competition.
