The world has changed, a mysterious event that only the TMNT can remember, has created a race of mutants that live in constant danger, factions have broken out across the city and the Community is one of the safest there is, (after all, it's run by the TMNT). Now the factions are moving, activity is growing. Something is happening, a strange something that seems to involve the TMNT and they don't know why.

Leonardo has been missing for eight months, when he is found and rescued, it is revealed that he suffered grately in The Shredder's keeping. His family, unsure and frightened, try to help him through his ordeal. Can they protect Leo from the dreams that haunt him?

After a shaky start and a conversation with Splinter, Leo accepts these dreams to try and find their meaning. But how simple is it to just shake off the realism, and stay in reality's grip when such a tempting life awaits him.

When Donatello wakes up in an alley, alone and naked, with a strange man trying to kill him, he becomes aware that three weeks of his memory have gone. He retraces his steps and seeks help from his family to find the answers to so many questions.
