Well this is my first web-page, so please bare with it.
Well I recently purchased a 1992 Acura Integra GS-R, from a Salvage Pool. I spent $2400, possibly too much, but I don't care, I see alot of potential in this car. My brother Steve said he could fix it and paint it for me for about $500! He is in an Autobody II class in his High School, and the teacher will make sure it is done right, so I'm not worried about it. My biggest worry right now is, what color should I paint it? It is currently Frost White, a nice color, but if I can get it painted any color, I'm goinig to go off the wall! So far I 've thought about, Pumpkin Orange, Electric Blue, Kawasaki Green, Canary Yellow, and Bright Platinum. I've also already decided that when I get it painted I'm going to have a body kit for it also, I've decided on the Battle Z front bumper from , I'll probably just end up mixing and matching my side skirts and rear bumper.
Now it comes to the ENGINE! The engine is a B17A w/ 178,XXX miles on it. Sounds scary but it still runs extremely strong, so strong that I'm thinking it may be a rebuild or something. Well anyway, I'll be totally rebuilding it for by next summer anyway, New pistons and rods, etc. Then I'll hopefully be able to slap on a Turbo! This will all come in time. |
